I can already see some of Nicolas Cole's advice in this post.

Great issue today, Derek.

Looking forward to learning more from your experiences.

Have a good one!

Great Post!

I have a question: You write:

"Write where people are. The options are endless. Medium, Quora, X, LinkedIn."

Is there a specific reason you wouldn't recommend Substack as someone's main platform to grow?

Thanks Derek! 💙 😊 I realized that narrative writing style is a sure winner on most platforms 👌! How about creative writing? Does creative writing work on Medium and Substack?

I see here that you mention not starting a blog. I started my blog first, then went to Medium (while continuing the blog), and now I am here on Substack while continuing my bog and Medium. I've thought about stopping my blog and only working on Substack, but I have over 200 articles on there so far and I've been told I should keep it as a library of sorts. What would you suggest to someone in my shoes?

I love the rest of your advice ❤️🙏

If it’s established keep it going. The main reason I advise not starting one is because no one will find it. It’s much better to write where people are (eg Substack or Medium). Thanks for the question Julene
